We're aware of an issue that prompts a "Device not compatible" error message in Google's Play Store when trying to download the latest update, even though the game supports your device. Google is currently investigating the issue.
As a temporary workaround, Google suggests clearing Google Play Store's data from your phone and then reinstalling the game. To do so:
- Enter Settings
- Choose Application Manager > All
- Select Google Play Store
- Clear data
You can also re-install the whole Google Play Store App. To do so:
- Enter Settings
- Choose Apps & notifications
- Select Google Play Store or 'See all apps' or 'App info'
- At the top of the screen, tap the three dots > Uninstall Updates
After the process is complete, please try reinstalling the game.
As Android operates on many different devices, this process may vary slightly from handset to handset. Please consult your manufacturer's manual (or native help center) for further guidance if needed.
